Just to let you know a little about me, my name is Sandra Vickerman, I usually go by Sandy, but I am fine with Sandra, too.
I have worked in education for over 22 years in Fremont County. I started out in the Canon City Middle School, then I worked at Fremont County Head Start for 13 years and then 4 years with special ed preschoolers at the Canon City School District/ECHO program, before I joined the AMAZING Canon City team at Global Advantage in the Fall of 2017.
I am so blessed to have an amazing family that I am so proud of: my son, Cody, who is a First Sergeant and recruiter in the US Army, my oldest daughter, Morgan, who is working with students at UCCS and my youngest daughter, Chelsey, who is a 12th grade CCE student with Global Advantage. My greatest pride and joy is my incredible grandbabies: Adaline, Ellie & Caydran.
Helping students see their potential, and find their passion inspires me. Working at GlobalAdvantage is an amazingly rewarding opportunity for me to engage with families and students, to watch them learn, blossom and succeed throughout the year. I am also a part of our EDZone’s Student Activities and look forward to engaging more students in more activities this year.
